Temporary Limitations
Following limitations are well known and we work on it, see Roadmap.
1. All recordings with commercials
2. WMV-Format instead of DivX
3. Emule interface slow and often down (you have to wait a while until screen is ready)
Fixed: 26-08-05 We now have a Linux-Decoder (and Mac!!)
General Limitations
n w1. Auto correction is allways ON, that means, if you enter 20:14 until 21:01 and we have a movie running from 20:15 to 21:00 , we use that time instead!
OVERLAP is great feature and adds 3 minutes before and 5 minutes after EPG-airtime.
2. Videos need some time after end of recording to change the status to READY and are ready for download. This Time is is for WMV-Files ~ 3 minutes, for DivX it can be up to the length of movie (90 minutes for e.g.).
You will receive an email, when recording is finished and ready for download.
3. After downloading you have to decode your recorded file. Please use the Windows-Decoder (linux) (mac) to create wmv-files out of the .OTRKEY-Files. You can only decode Files that you recorded. And only 1 time! If the decoding process crashes, you might loose your recording.
